Havalon Piranta Forge
An ABS handle with a TPR rubber covering and a finger guard sets the Piranta Forge apart from Havalon's slimmer handles. It uses the same 2.75" #60A stainless scalpel blades and a liner lock. At 7.875" overall it is one of the longer Piranta handles.

Why a scalpel
A surgical blade profile in a knife handle. Ground far thinner than any sharpenable knife can be, so it cuts hide and connective tissue with almost no force — and snaps if you twist it. Replaced rather than sharpened.

The maker does not publish a grade. Treat it as mid-tier cutlery stainless.
1-5 is a relative ranking drawn from published composition and hardness, not a lab measurement. Higher is better on every axis, and no steel is a 5 across the board — edge retention and toughness pull against each other. All Stainless knives
